Central Texas Transgender Society This website provides information and a list of resources to the transgender community. 

Out Youth - Out Youth serves Central Texas LGBTQ+ (lesbian/gay/bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning) youth and their allies with programs and services to ensure these promising young people develop into happy, healthy, successful adults.

PFLAG Austin - Offers free support groups for LGBTQ people, their family members, friends, and allies in the Austin, Texas area.

RAD Remedy - RAD Remedy is dedicated to connecting trans, gender non-conforming, intersex, and queer folks to accurate, safe, respectful, and comprehensive care. 

The Trevor Project - Crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth. 

Transgender Education Network of Texas - This is an organization dedicated to furthering the gender diverse equity in the State of Texas through education and networking in both public and private forums.

UT Gender and Sexuality Center - The mission of the Gender and Sexuality Center (GSC) is to provide opportunities for all members of the UT Austin community to explore, organize, and promote learning around issues of gender and sexuality. The center facilitates a greater responsiveness to the needs of women and the LGBTQ communities through education, outreach, and advocacy.


Intersex Initiative - Intersex Initiative is a Portland, Oregon based national activist and advocacy organization for people born with intersex conditions.

Intersex Society of North America - The Intersex Society of North America (ISNA) is devoted to systemic change to end shame, secrecy, and unwanted genital surgeries for people born with an anatomy that someone decided is not standard for male or female.

Intersexion - In this documentary, intersex individuals reveal the secrets of their unconventional lives – and how they navigate their way through a strictly male/female world, when they fit somewhere in between. Follow the link to watch the full documentary on Youtube.

Polyamory and open relationships

Austin Polyamory Social Group - Local social group in Austin that meets once a week for dinner and conversation.

Kimchi Cuddles - A webcomic spreading awareness about poly, queer, and genderqueer issues through pretty adorable cartoons. 

Life on the Swingset - This site describes itself as "a primer to the lifestyle for those just starting their exploration, those who are simply considering the idea, and those already on board this crazy ride on the swingset." You'll find a collection of blogs, sex toy reviews, and podcasts.

Sexual Health

AIDS Services of Austin - Local organization with a mission to enhance the health and well-being of the community and people affected by HIV and AIDS.

Planned Parenthood - Planned Parenthood provides reproductive health care, sex education, and information to women, men, and young people regardless of income. Use this link to find local clinics. 

Body Positivity and Health at Every Size

Linda Bacon, PhD - A website from the author of Body Respect and Health at Every Size with the aim "to inspire a global transformation to a more just world, where all bodies are valued, respected, and supported in compassionate self-care."

Virgie Tovar - Badass babe, author, activist and one of the nation's leading experts and lecturers on fat discrimination and body image.

The Body is Not an Apology - Radical self-love for everybody and every body with articles covering a range of topics, including gender, mental health, disability, sexuality, and more.
